My wife and I bought a house in Sonoma County 14 years ago with Catherine as our broker. When it came time to sell the house this year, we made only one phone call—to Catherine. The reason we called her is her unusual combination of brains, integrity, and professional skill at closing deals. Those qualities were more than requisite this time around. It was a short sale with two lenders. Catherine showed persistence, diplomacy, toughness and imagination in reconciling the interests of the buyers, lenders and our own needs. Satisfying the lead lender was particularly challenging. My impression is that Catherine’s positive reputation in Sonoma helped us attract, and ultimately close, with a well financed buyer with a strong interest in our property. We had to be out of the country for almost the entire process of listing, marketing, and finally selling our home.
